Eide Integrated Systems LLC (EIS) Proudly announces sale of over 60 WizardPDS® -Automated Perimiter Definition Systems.

The WizardPDS® was first introduced at the BCMC show in ’05. Company spokesperson Tom Hoy states that the success of this product is due to the unprecedented results that it offers. It truly eliminates 99% of the setup time and all manual jigging. It produces a perfect truss every time. That coupled with its extremely simple and reliable design have rendered 100% customer satisfaction and that is what is driving the unprecedented sales volumes of this product. It should come as no surprise that this industry changing and innovative product was developed by an actual truss manufacturer -Truss Pro’s, Inc. in Britton South Dakota in 2001. They needed something that would solve the growing problem of the overwhelming setup times required to produce the complex truss designs which now dominated their market. The automation that existed did not answer their problem. Inventor/partner Clyde Fredrickson, having developed the predecessor of the WizardPDS® over a decade earlier as an effective semi automatic jig system for their original equipment, felt that it was obvious that the next step was to fully automate this well proven system and let technology solve this problem as well as replace the need for skilled labor. Now in their 6th building season with the original WizardPDS® they have virtually eliminated all setup time required to build any truss configuration. When asked about the results that the WizardPDS® has had in their plant, principal and partner John Kraft will humbly tell you “It’s kind of a big deal” with a slight smile on his face. “It not only completely eliminated our setup time and truss quality issues on the new table, it increased the productivity of our other semi automated tables by over 25% because we sent the most complex jobs to the WizardPDS®. This left the longer runs and simpler designs for the other non automated machinery. After seeing the mind boggling results, it didn’t take us long to see that we really had something here and replaced every press line in our plant with the WizardPDS®. Setup time and truss quality have not been an issue since and that helps us at every level, especially during this market downturn. No one can build a truss with less labor than we can with the WizardPDS®.”
Truss Pro’s established a separate company Truss Industry Production Systems Inc (TIPS) to manufacturer and technically support the WizardPDS® products. In 2005 Eide Integrated Systems LLC (EIS) was formed to establish truss equipment supplier partnerships for the WizardPDS® and exclusively market these products worldwide through a network of independent machinery distributors.
The WizardPDS® – Perimeter Definition System is a fully automated jig system that reduces truss set up time by 99%. The WizardPDS® requires NO additional jig hardware or images to accomplish a complete truss set up in 30 seconds or less. The WizardPDS® converts set up time to build time.
