Eide Integrated Systems Announces New Software

Eide Integrated Systems LLC (EIS) announces a new software release option for the revolutionary WizardPDS® automated - perimeter definition system. The all new software system named “WizardPDS® Gold” is compatible with both Windows XP and Vista operating systems. Major new features include: Enhanced screen graphics, “Snap to” pin reassignment, “Drag and drop” truss relocation, full Laser system integration and Screen projection of the truss shop drawing at the assembly table. The software remains extremely simple to use, yet powerful when setup or positioning adjustments are desired. The optional Truss Imaging feature brings a paperless solution to your assembly team by projecting all information required to build the truss onto a flat panel, large screen or any sort of viewing surface at the assembly table. Mark Wismer -chief software architect and engineer states that about 10 systems have already been installed or upgraded with the new “WizardPDS® Gold” software. It has been an extremely successful addition to the WizardPDS® product line. Our customers are very pleased and have shown a great deal of enthusiasm with the results. The customers that are using the optional Laser Integration feature are stunned by what a powerful feature this is when they couple their existing Laser to the WizardPDS® system. They don’t even have to go to a computer console to change a setup or reposition the truss that they are working on. The operator simply uses their “wand” or “remote” to initialize the setup or change in placement right at the table. When the operator is through, the WizardPDS® automatically follows the last command by initializing a corresponding jig setup seconds later. There is simply nothing else that offers the power, speed, flexibility and simplicity of this innovative new software. All existing WizardPDS® customers that wish to upgrade can do so for a nominal fee or continue their use of any previous software versions.
